Multiple functions
The roofs have multiple functions
In contrast to traditional house building, we can state that the roofs in this project have 4 important functions: Improvement inner climate The outer ‘shell’ of the house adds to a better air quality and humidity balance inside the house. The attained level of insulation also limits the noises from outside. Production of heat Hot air collectors as parts of the roofs of Solar 2002 produce the necessary heat to warm the house. There is a solar boiler for domestic hot water. Production of electricity Another part of the roof is equipped with photovoltaic panels, which directly convert sunlight to electricity. Collecting water Through the roofs the necessary water is collected for consumption in the house. The water from the sky is then filtered up to the desired quality for each purpose.
